Crizton

Troy D. Smith aka Crizton, born and raised in the metroplex of Dallas, Tx. the streets of Oak Cliff.
Crizton began his journey in the music field around of 16, and to be honest it was doing gospel rap but it wasn't as big as it is now. Back then Crizton was rapping to music with his Little brother beat boxing, he remembers being on the school bus and a young brother asked him if he knew how to rap. Crizton and four other brothers came together and wrote a song called Amen!
Crizton and his friends really didn't know what they were doing but to them they were the N.W.A of Christian rap. As life progressed and Crizton got older, he started going in a different direction. From selling drugs, drinking, smoking, joining the 4 Tre Hoova Cripz, womanizing, scamming, etc.
At 19 the road came to an end, Crizton caught a case and received 10 years in TDCJ . By the grace of God he only served 2 years on that bid. After that he still had his good and bad days, but like anybody else he went harder. Before people knew what a boss was Crizton was him. Crizton started doing secular music and hanging in the clubs, he joined a rap group called Common Criminals and they had the hottest song underground called Hood Rats, Cadillacs, and Projects. The group got signed to a label and of course they got screwed.
As time went on Crizton had to take some time to find himself, he was straddling the fence like he didn't have a care in the world. Today Crizton thanks God for change. He's a better person and knows the purpose God has for him and thats to do his will. That old person he was he's not him.
Crizton received his stage name from his little brother before he went home to be with the Lord and he has fire like Jeremiah.
So now as Crizton stand, He's all about God's Business!
